Pride Together certainly lived up to its name as we welcomed a fantastic crowd to The Attic in Leeds on Sunday 4th October for an afternoon filled with music, dancing, laughter and, most importantly, community.
The event was a wonderful opportunity to bring people together, with a fantastic mix of entertainment, activities and opportunities to try something new. It was particularly lovely to see so many new faces joining us alongside familiar friends from across the Out Together community.
Guests enjoyed brilliant live entertainment from Marigold Addams, Kuill and more, with plenty of fabulous drag energy throughout the afternoon. There was also the opportunity to take part in a swing dance workshop delivered in partnership with the University of Leeds, getting everyone up on their feet and adding plenty of energy to the afternoon.
For those looking for something a little more musical, we also hosted a choir taster session, giving members the chance to have a go at singing together in a relaxed and welcoming environment. It was fantastic to see people getting involved, trying something different and enjoying the experience together.
Pride Together also gave us the chance to connect with the wider community beyond Leeds. As part of Silver Sunday, we had a live link-up with celebrations taking place in London, allowing us to share in the occasion and connect with people elsewhere in the country. It was a great reminder that community and connection can reach far beyond the room we were gathered in.

Silver Sunday is a national day where communities come together by hosting fun and free activities for older people. Simply put, it’s a day for older people to have something special to look forward to and enjoy themselves. – Age UK
While the entertainment and activities were a big part of the afternoon, Pride Together was ultimately about something much more important: creating a space where people could come as they are, meet others, make new connections and enjoy being part of a community.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, performed, volunteered and supported the event, helping to make the afternoon such a success. We would also like to say a special thank you to Lloyds Banking Group for supporting Pride Together, as well as the University of Leeds for helping us deliver the swing dance workshop.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the afternoon so special. We hope you enjoyed Pride Together as much as we did.
And to everyone who joined us for the first time, welcome to Out Together! We hope to see you again very soon at one of our upcoming events.
