We are deeply saddened to share that Ian passed away last week. In 2017, Ian was one of the founders of the original social group that went on to become, in 2020, the charity we now know as Out Together. A well-known and much-loved figure on the Leeds LGBT scene for decades, Ian was a natural connector of people and a passionate community builder. He was also widely respected within the Yorkshire men’s clothing retail trade.
In recent years, Ian experienced ill health and chose to move back to live closer to his family near Carlisle.
Ian’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday 4 February at Carlisle Crematorium at 1.00 pm. Further details, including a live link for those unable to attend, can be obtained from Jill Glencross Funeral Directors on 01228 317373.
